For Indigenous People Day, the EHM wants to let you know about some of the baclums we have on display. 🦝The racoon baculum is a versatile item, used by Indigenous people in cleaning and packing smoking pipes. In hoodoo practices, the bone has been used as a pendent to luck, love, and fertility. The oosik, which is the Alaskan Indigenous term for baculums, but the term is mostly referring to walrus, seal, sea lion, and polar bear baculums. From the Arizona State Museum, carved walrus oosik became a popular tourist item in the mid-20th century. Tourist even began commissioning Alaskan artists to carve "graphic" imagery into the oosik🫢 These baculums (and many others) are on display in our evolution exhibit. #eroticheritagemuseum #eroticmuseumvegas #ehm #museum #lasvegas #vegasfun #vegasattractions #lasvegasmuseums #offstripvegas #visitlasvegas #lasvegasattractions #vegasattraction #onlyinvegas #thingstodoinvegas #vegasexperience

New additions to the Forbidden Gallery‼ David van Gough, a Necrosurrealist artist, has brought in new, fantastic, and original oil paintings that range from 2011 to 2021.
